I did a lot of work to help promote Webb, listened to his speech three times and learned something about the race.  Why is that funny again?

Do I think that the diary might help JRE?  Yes, of course.  Did I hope it would help Webb?  Yes.  Does Edwards campaigning with Webb help Webb?  Well, it got a lot of media attention and caused a pretty huge crowd.  Edwards has a lot of support and maybe he'll actually play a role in changing minds.  Does Edwards campaigning with Webb help Edwards?  Yes.  It puts him in the public eye and if Webb wins it'll look good that Edwards campaigned with him.  Again, that's the politics of people campaigning for each other.  How is it that you don't understand that?

I hope you hope Webb win in 2006 and I won't engage in denegrating your support for him by saying you're in love with him or want to date him (because that would be pathetic).
