Allen's "A-Team": How I Pity These Fools

While George Allen remains in a political death spiral, his vindictive, terrified, pitiful, demented, blogsquad, "The A-Team", continues to degrade the entire blogsphere with what will, on November 8, amount to the single least credible archive of political writings ever assembled.

I pity these fools.

Yesterday's example: When Survey USA reported Allen's approval ratings dropping by 5 Points, Riley from the D-Team reported it under this headline:  Allen Approval Rating Holding Steady.

Today's example: Fishing, Fishing, Fishing...

---------------
Below is a quote that the "A-Team" cherry picked from this diary written by Kos.

On it's face, it looks pretty bad. It's stupid to suggest James Webb is somehow at fault for a comment made by someone before he was even a Democratic nominee for Senate, but it still looks bad. It's also a crock.

Here is what Allen's A-Team quoted:

"As everyone knows, Jews only care about the welfare of other Jews. Thanks for reminding everyone of this most salient fact, so that we might better ignore all that Jewish propoganda."-tomjones, December 7, 2005

Here is the real quote:

right
because as everybody knows, jews ONLY care about the welfare of other jews; thanks ever so much for reminding everyone of this most salient fact, so that we might better ignore all that jewish propaganda about participating in the civil rights movement of the 60s and so on

Allen's A-Team removed the emphasis on "ONLY" and truncated the quote after they misspelled Jones's correct spelling of the word "propaganda" to leave out the end of his post that read: "about participating in the civil rights movement of the 60s and so on." Why would they do this? To make you think it was a sincere expression of the poster in question (tomjones) and not the clearly sarcastic rejoinder countering an anti-Semitic statement that it actually was.

------------

How desperate do you have to be?  This is the heart of the phony "Anti-Semitic blogger" meme started by Allen campaign manager Dick Wadhams and dutifully carried by every koolaid drinker hoping to get some good licks in while the Allen campaign goes through it's death throes.

Jim Webb is a man whose time has come.  America dearly needs an independent, courageous, leader to champion our foreign policy, working families, and constitutional republic with integrity.

George Allen is too mean to lead in the US Senate, and lacks the authenticity to represent Virginia's values.

With the state of this race what it is, Allen's deranged blog team continues to prove that there is no depth to which they will not go, no ethical boundary they won't desecrate.  Every attack piece is another badge of honor for the brave supporters of Jim Webb in the VA political blogsphere, and another nail in the coffin of the credibility of these ignorant imbeciles.

Check back daily for a good chuckle, or better yet, just leave them to wallow in their own desperation, fear, and grief.

How I do pity these fools.

But don't promote.

These guys don't deserve the honor of a front page rejoinder, and I'd rather keep Jim Webb and John Edwards above the fold all day long.

Thanks,

Josh

At Long Last (Mark - 9/27/2006 6:58:57 AM)
Have these people no decency? No scruples? How can they live with themselves?

Winning is going to be so sweet. I wish everybody the same good fortune and great returns that Jim Webb is experiencing.

Now Kellam and Feder and Weed and Nachman. O'Donough and Hurst and Donner and Blitzen. Now dash away Boucher and Scott and Moran; dash away, dash away, dash away all. To the top of the fence and over the wall!!!

It's early, what can I say?

Mark

PS: Hi Josh.

Hey Mark (Josh - 9/27/2006 7:42:03 AM)
How's that coffee?

Susan Allen was abused. (Bubby - 9/27/2006 9:21:27 AM)
If I were Susan Allen's son, I'd kick Shaun Kenney in the nuts for posting that story using my mother as a political tool. On second thought, I think Kenney's nuts are in a jar in Dick Wadhams office.  What a dirt bag.

And what do you call the Allen campaign team? (Loudoun County Dem - 9/27/2006 10:54:04 AM)
...The Aristocrats...

(Sorry for the relatively obscure reference but I hope those of you who get it will find it amusing).

The "A-Team" (Different Drum - 9/27/2006 2:43:36 PM)
The A-Team's antics bring to mind old comedy shows that, while entertaining, never rose above the pedestrian.

"F-Troop," for example.

perfect, thanks (Josh - 9/27/2006 9:22:33 PM)
I'm going to use that a lot.

Allen F Team (drmontoya - 9/28/2006 5:21:21 PM)
Not, D. F.

They are all failures, and we shall show them on November 7th.
