This is only a small part Republicans are playing against us and the world we live in. They may claim to be constructing and passing environmental bills that are good for our environment and health but to get a better idea of the truth I recommend that you ask direct questions and take a very close look at things. Read Federal Register notices about bills and acts.
Those in power are manipulating laws that were successful, stating their amendments will make things better. These are disgraceful actions illegal/immoral of anyone in the whitehouse or congress. A primary intent is to mislead us into believing what they say. Those taking these actions are treating us like children and believe we are ignorant enough to believe campaign speaches of anti-environment politicians.
Don't fall for it. If our environment continues to be degraded we won't be able to live in a clean place nor eat and drink without the chance of illness. The same situation will be left for future generations, only with more and severe environmental/health problems.
Allen, his political comrades, and his big business buddies certainly know the U.S. can't continue to rely on nonrenewable fuels. Using oil is just helping Allen and his party members stay in business.
Allen and his buddies also know that there are alternative fuels, not just ethanol, that can be used at low costs to voters. There have been 100% battery-powered cars invented. These vehicles can get better than excellent miles on a charge, but will those in charge and indebted to oil corporations allow this type vehicle on the market? Of course not. Allen's not working in your best interest. The same goes for his party.
If they really were or intend to Allen would not support the commander in lowering tax deductible amount for buying a hybrid vehicle. A politician really interested in your well-being and your family's funds would propose a periodic increase
in the tax deductible amount for buying a hybrid.
Of course, this is only the tip of the oil well. We need a man and party to promote hybrids, production/use of battery-powered vehicles, and finally production and use of hydrogen powered cars and providing enough stations for drivers.
It's unreasonable to expect a candidate such as George Allen, who has received almost a million dollars from oil interests, to deal with this issue. But we do need representatives who can show leadership on this issue--look at all available options, and proceed with an eye towards the best interest of Americans in the broadest sense. Just one of many reasons to vote for Jim Webb in November.
