It's hard for Allen to keep so many lies straight

Of course, you'll never see the media point this out, but the Center for American Progress shows how blatantly contradictory George Allen can be:

-á"Asked what macaca means, Allen said: 'I don't know what it means.' He said the word sounds similar to 'mohawk,' a term that his campaign staff had nicknamed Sidarth because of his haircut."
-á-- Washington Post, on Sen. George Allen (R-VA) hearing the word "macaca" from his campaign staff, 9/14/06

-áVERSUS

-áMR. RUSSERT: Well, where'd the word come from? It must've been in your consciousness.
-áSEN. ALLEN: Oh, it's just made up.
-áMR. RUSSERT: Made up?
-áSEN. ALLEN: Just made up. Made-up word.
-áMR. RUSSERT: You'd never heard it before?
-áSEN. ALLEN: Never heard it before.
-á-- Allen, on never hearing the word "macaca" in his life, 9/17/06

So, this a word (1) Allen heard from his staff, which made it up, and (2) Allen made up himself, never hearing it before.

Which is it?

Don't forget (phriendlyjaime - 9/19/2006 9:07:44 AM)
it also meant that Siddarth was annoying, and a caca head.

Idiot Allen staffers.
