Below is a brand new blog called +óGé¼+ôTHE A-TEAM+óGé¼-¥ that was just created to help support George Allen+óGé¼Gäós Senate race in 2006 and also apparently his Presidential race in 2008!
While this blog may not officially represent George Allen, it was a stupid move on their part in my opinion for one of them to write "Allen still well positioned in latest +óGé¼-£08 poll" when Allen is trying hard to duck and evade the question about his running for President in 2008 while he is running for reelection to the Senate in 2006!
Here is a post that I wrote which has a whole bunch of big name GOP Neocon endorsements for Allen+óGé¼Gäós 2008 Presidential campaign to go with what is below:
NEWS & ANALYSIS: George Allen launches Senate bid / How to defeat Allen in 2006!
Since Allen+óGé¼Gäós own supporters are quoting 2008 Presidential polls and are already saying about his 2008 Presidential run +óGé¼+ôAllen is still very well positioned to take up that mantle,+óGé¼-¥ it is very fair on our part to bring this up to the public and ask why Allen is even running for reelection to Senate when he obviously does not want the job and when he plans on running for President if he wins this Senate race!
And to make matters worse for Allen; if he runs for President in 2008 and wins, then Virginia Governor Tim Kaine will get to fill his vacated Senate seat with a Democrat who will not agree with what Allen is running on right now for reelection!
These are points that we should be talking about and bringing up to people since Allen was stupid enough to run for President as early as he did and when his own supporters are talking about how "Allen still well positioned in latest +óGé¼-£08 poll."
Allen did not think that his 2008 Presidential ambitions were a big issue when he thought that he would just easily coast to reelection but they have become a big issue now in my opinion because this has become a truly competitive race!
Allen could duck media questions about running for President in 2008 before but I do not think that he can easily do that now if he is pressed hard enough on having to commit to serving out his full term if he wins (which I do not believe that he will ever do)!
I also do not think that the people of Virginia will be very happy having only a part time Senator who will be far more interested in running for President rather than doing his job in the Senate (and what he does do in the Senate is just a 97% rubber stamping of Bush+óGé¼Gäós agenda) for two years and who will only view his Senate seat as a being consolation prize if he does not become President in 2008!
The people of Virginia can do much better than a part time, 97% rubber stamp Senator in George Allen by electing Jim Webb to the Senate in 2006. Jim Webb is a real leader who will be a full time Senator and who will work directly for the people of Virginia!
Please forward this on to help bring more public attention to George Allen's 2008 Presidential ambitions because that can help to weaken Allen as being a serious candidate for the Senate in 2006. People will see that Allen really does not want the job of being a Senator and that he is really using his so-called Senate candidacy as a stepping stone and as a fundraiser for his 2008 Presidential campaign!

Allen still well positioned in latest +óGé¼-£08 poll

Despite a nearly month-long national assault on George Allen, the latest CNN / Opinion Research Corp. poll on the 2008 GOP presidential race still has him in fourth place among Republicans +óGé¼GÇ¥ pretty much where he was in similar polls prior to the recent feeding frenzy. He still trails Rudy Giuliani and John McCain by double-digits (as one would expect given their near universal name ID) and is slightly behind Newt Gingrich. Allen still holds leads over Sen. Maj. Leader Bill Frist, MA Gov. Mitt Romney, NY Gov. George Pataki and KS Sen. Sam Brownback.
The +óGé¼-£08 GOP primary will NOT come down to Giuliani vs. McCain. Only one of them will advance to the final round pitting the maverick candidate against the rock-ribbed conservative candidate. If that is the case, then Allen is still very well positioned to take up that mantle.
I guess that reports of Allen+óGé¼Gäós national political death have been greatly exaggerated+óGé¼-ª.
