Everytime a Republican screams about the incident it does two things:
1. Keeps the incident in the public eye. On behalf of all Webb supporters, thanks for the free publicity.
2. Makes the speaker and Allen look like jackasses. The "blame the victim" game only plays well with the true diehards. Mainstream Virginians will be disgusted by it.
Who is Allen's hero/saviour this week? None other than the past president of Republican Club of Greater Reston. With friends like this, who needs enemies?
Some gems from the past president...
Senator George Allen's recent gaffe was certainly unfortunate. He opened himself up to criticism and let his campaign get off message by an unnecessary diversion. What Senator Allen is most guilty of is taking the bait.
And regarding trackers...
There is a word to describe following an individual day in and day out, ... it is called stalking.
This sort of activity is cheap, childish, and sophomoric.
Ooops. Allen has had a tracker on Webb since before Webb won the primary. We have photographic proof.
Attention George Allen - your loyal supporter, a former past president of a Republican club, just called you cheap, childish, and sophomoric. Guess you lost his vote.
Since both Webb and Allen have trackers I suppose this guy is going to have to vote for the train lady.

I'm thinking of calling the guy, if he is in the phone book, to clue him in (in a nice way, of course).
Has anyone stopped to consider the fact that Sen. George Allen could have been set up?
How dare Webb introduce a non-white person into the equation! That has set up written all over it - it's not like Allen would ever run into anyone who is not white in his daily routine. He must have been so confused at the very sight of a non-white person he had to resort to his only option: to use a racial slur against that person. Just like the Webb team intended.
***SARCASM COMPLETE***
Jeesh...
Thanks summercat for pointing this one out!
Who does he want? Rasputin?
George Allen will never get the stain of the M-word off his back.
He's damanged goods and the word is now a new part of the American vernacular, like "Redstate/Bluestate", or "Truthiness". George Allen is now an immortal of intolerance. I'm sure his friends at the CCC are overjoyed.
1. Clueless about trackers
2. Not helping Allen
And yes, I'll be happy to keep this story alive, but thanks to people like this Allen supporter I don't have to.
IP isn't an idiot, he's put his support behind rotten ideas and a rotten candidate in George Allen.
