Jerry Kilgore "way over the top"

Two updates from the Virginia governor's race. First, ReThug/Wingnut candidate Jerry Kill-more (Kilgore) has officially resigned as state Attorney General in order to raise money full time. You know, what ReThugs do best. Lt. Governor Tim Kaine, his Democratic opponent, commented that Kilgore was "abdicating his responsibility to the citizens of the Commonwealth" in order "to raise money." You said it, brother Tim!
Second, the Kilgore campaign is sending around "way over-the-top" e-mails and snail mails (see below) about Tim Kaine, according to Stever Sisson, the "Blue Dog Democrat" in the Augusta Free Press. Do these attacks sound familiar?
"? Tim Kaine's campaign will consist of limousine liberals, Hollywood leftists, radical special interests and the angry Clinton/Kennedy/Kerry national Democrats."
"... Tim Kaine is a typical liberal Democrat who will always place the 'values' of the radical left over yours and mine."
"? Tim Kaine certainly shares his liberal Democratic Party?s twisted conviction that each of these God-given rights (gun ownership, worship freely, etc.) are somehow a threat to our Republic."
We at RaisingKaine particularly love the parts about the "God-given right" to gun ownership and how Tim Kaine, a moderate Democrat who opposes abortion and gay marriage, is part of the "radical left."
Apparently, this was too much even for Steve Sisson, no friend of Tim Kaine's by any means. Should be a fun campaign, especially with slimeball Scott Howell, the guy who did the smear job on Max Cleland in Georgia, as Kilgore's media chief. Anyway, stay tuned to RaisingKaine for the latest news. We've got it covered.
