My first one ever, I feel like celebrating. It was interesting to have questions about Mark Warner in there- how do you feel about him sort of stuff. A little more below.
Most of it was expected: what do you think of the job Bush is doing, etc. Of course the Senate race was prominent. Interesting odd questions were: who's winning the war on terror? That took me a bit, but I answered the US and allies. I may be very critical of this administration and especially of our occupation of Iraq, but I do feel like we are winning despite Bush and his efforts.
Other interesting stuff was questions on terror and economy and who is better at addressing/managing those- Bush or the Democrats in Congress. That was just a very odd juxtaposition.
Can't wait to see the results!

Did the macaca issue come up?
No question about that (Doug Garnett-Deakin - 8/17/2006 2:58:34 PM)
I just thought the timing might be rasmussen trying to get a first feel for what the news has done.
The terrorists are winning (Dan - 8/17/2006 8:35:07 PM)
Believe me the U.S. is LOSING the War on Terror. Actually, we are beating ourselves. Terrorists cannot win, they can only prolong. Bush has made it MUCH WORSE. Honestly, saying that the U.S. is losing the War on Terror is not wishing it so. Remember, we are funding the other side with our high oil prices. We are PAYING terrorists to kill us. Bush has done nothing to help us kick the oil habit and has sent $tens of billions to the terrorists coffers. Is that winning the War on Terror???
