House Parties

Tonight at 6 PM will be the first of a series of Webb house parties to be held in coming months across Virginia. I will be attending one; how about you? For more information on a party near you, please contact Jason Korta at jkorta@webbforsenate.com or (703) 778-4080.

I found trying to navigate through what was listed on the Webb site somewhat awkward. Each entry should probably have either the zip or the town listed in the title to make it easier for people to find one close to them.
I expect you and I will be at different sites -- I'm in Virginia Square, which looks to be pretty small.

1) I already had a party to attend
2) out of curiousity I put in my zip and 10 miles to see what would pop up
3) in most cases, I could not tell from what appeared on the list where the house party was, which meant I had to click on each link to see where it was, and in several cases it didn't even give an address, only a zip code.

Many of the house parties are not listed in the event finder. There are two within a few miles of my house in Hampton Roads, and neither are listed. Not everyone wanted their address posted on the internet. Makes sense. Plus the party I am going to is full, so it wouldn't really help to advertise. The host put a top limit of 30 people, feeling that was a nice, friendly number that would be comfortable in the house.
