Tom Davis tied to Jack Abramoff?

This Daily Kos diariest certainly thinks so, naming Tom Davis one of 21 GOP incumbents linked to the convicted lobbyist:

And then there is this group of folks. I know that they are tied to Abramoff, but the depth of the connection requires more research, more digging into sources like Open Secrets, Capital Eye, Thomas.gov, the Washington Post Voter's Project, the Center for Public Integrity, Lobbying Disclosure Forms, GPO Access, and many other locations of GOP scandal droppings. Especially useful are old press reports and Web sites. These folks are in the scandal shadow. It is time to bring them out into the light. So here are some Abramoff-connected GOP Weasels and their Democratic challengers:

...#20: Tom Davis (VA-11) is another Republican with an Abramoff connection in his closet. Worries about those connections may be behind the recent announcement that the House Government Reform Committee is investigating connections between Jack Abramoff and the White House. Now that's putting some distance between your campaign and GW Bush! Of course Davis has his strongest challenger in years, Democrat Andy Hurst and a District that is turning blue. Help Andy get the red out.

Remember, Tom Davis has already decided to give away Abramoff tainted funds and has been outed by the Washington Post as having his own corrupt web of influence.

So, more research is needed? Sounds like a summer project for our Raising Kaine family!

According to Capital Eye Davis has taken $8,750 from Abramoff Clients (while Abramoff was representing them), anything else out there that anyone knows about?

PS: Lowell or Eric, this might be a Soapblox problem, but RK seems to think that 2/3 of Raising Kaine members signed up on April 4, 2006.  Through user 1282, all the sign ups are April 4, user 1283 thegools, is the first one that the site recognizes signed up after that.  did you switch servers on that day?

The dates would be due to the conversion.  While we could have determined first post date from the old system and use that as the "sign up" day, it just wasn't worth the amound of time and effort.  So all users prior to the conversion date were batch added.

How can we figure out who else might be going to ICG Govt to get in bed with Tom and Jeannemarie?

The Post article said many of the ICG Gov't clients gave testimony before the Gov't Reform Committee. How can we find out who those people were?  Any ideas?
