The scoop is that inside-the-Beltway political consultants don't like him. But it's undeniable that he's got flair for ads that make people pay attention -- and maybe even laugh.
If I didn't already like Lamont, I'd think he was great just for having the sense of humor to sing "Everybody Wang Chung Tonight" in a political ad. He's a great guy.
