George Felix Allen+óGé¼Gäós Idea of Leadership:
George Felix Allen Jr. voted to give himself a raise four different times while voting against giving working Virginians - earning a paltry $5.15 an hour +óGé¼GÇ£ a raiseWashington, DC+óGé¼GÇ¥George Felix Allen Jr. has given himself a pay raise four times totaling over $31,600 while voting four times against giving a pay raise to 153,000 working Virginians, earning a paltry $5.15 an hour. The minimum wage has not been raised since 1997.
+óGé¼+ôJim Webb wants to make sure everyday working Virginians get the pay raise they so earnestly deserve before Congress gets another raise,+óGé¼-¥ said Webb Spokeswoman Kristian Denny Todd. +óGé¼+ôIn his whole tenure as U.S. Senator, George Felix Allen Jr., has time after time failed to stand up for the thousands of working people of Virginia and instead GAVE himself a fat raise.+óGé¼-¥
Below the flip, Felix Falsehood (you gotta read this)...
Felix FalsehoodVirginia newcomer Dick Wadhams contended, in a release issued by the Allen campaign yesterday, that Webb+óGé¼Gäós support for an increase in the minimum wage for everyday, hard-working Virginians actually hurts, +óGé¼+ôthe very people+óGé¼-ª[Webb wants] to help.+óGé¼-¥
Fact
Jim Webb wants to help the 153,000 people in Virginia who make minimum wage. He wants to help those thousands of Virginia families whose sole earner is making minimum wage; and Jim Webb wants to help the majority of the minimum wage earners who are women. George Felix Allen Jr. apparently does not care that 35 percent of minimum wage workers are their family+óGé¼Gäós sole earner and that 61 percent of these workers are women.
+óGé¼+ôGeorge Felix Allen Jr.+óGé¼Gäós opposition to raising the minimum wage is a slap at the 153,000 Virginians who are making this embarrassingly low wage and who struggle to make ends meet as a consequence of it.+óGé¼-¥ said Denny Todd. +óGé¼+ôIt seems George Felix Allen Jr. is opposed to pay raises ONLY for working Virginians. On the four occasions George Felix Allen, Jr. had to vote on increasing the minimum wage, he voted no. While the four times he had a chance to vote on a pay raise, he voted yes.+óGé¼-¥
+óGé¼+ôTo put it in perspective, $5.15 an hour probably could not pay for George Felix Allen Jr.+óGé¼Gäós Dude Ranch lesson of learning to rope the saw horse with the wooden cow head. But George Felix Allen Jr. knows, if you don+óGé¼Gäót obey the top ranch hand 100 percent of the time, you are in big trouble. Is it any wonder then, that George Felix Allen Jr. supports George Walker Bush virtually 100 percent of the time? It is time Virginia elected a leader not a follower +óGé¼GÇ£ that leader is Jim Webb,+óGé¼-¥ said Denny Todd.
I AM LOVING THIS!!!
