Warner's vision

Gov. Warner's speech at the NDN was very impressive. Sure some of the annecdotes and soundbytes are familiar but he's moving away from the Virginia Story and onto his vision for a 21st century America. I think this is what's setting him apart now from his '08 Dem opponents: a clear vision and goal for the nation that is more than just anti-Bush, Iraq and yay free healthcare, which are important for sure, but Warner's dream is one everyone can share and uniquely his; I think only Wes Clark has had a smiliar message of building up the infrustructure. And that story about Lebanon isn't BS. I live down near there, and there were hundreds of people with resumes lined up around the corner applying for the software jobs. Imagine in '08: "Turning the Rust Belt into the Broadband Belt."
