It's one of those campaigns w[h]ere both the local netroots and establishment agree on the better candidate -- like the folks over at Raising Ka(i)ne who love the hard-charging fighting Dem, as well as establishment Democrats like Chuck Schumer and John Kerry....There are lots of ex-Republican Democrats out there. I'm one of them. Jim Webb is another. And over time, we'll get more. And there's no stronger messenger for that cause than Jim Webb himself.
Harris Miller seems nice enough, but as a lobbyist (and one that gave extensively to Republicans), he's not exactly a great messenger on corruption and clean government issues.
I'll be blunt. If Harris Miller wins, there probably won't be much of a Senate race in Virginia in November. If Webb wins, this race will catapult to the top second-tier and could become a top-tier race before long.
It's safe to say that the netroots - both Virginian and national - are backing Jim Webb.

And no one here should give it to you.
Rule 1: Hide behind a pseudonym.
Rule 2: It's not enough to make a point, make sure you intimidate the opposition.
Rule 3: If intimidation doesn't work, ALWAYS make the argument that the efforts of the opposition harm their cause.
Rule 4: Never enter and argument that the opposition can possibly win, always make sure that by answering your question or challenge as presented, the opposition proves itself ignorant, hypocritical, or weak.
Rule 5: Create rancor, then leave the opposition to stew. On your way out, make sure to laugh at their earnest attempts to fight an honest battle.
The best way to deal with these progenitors of ignorance, hate and fear, is to Troll rate and post a recipe in response. Try it, you'll see how very fun it can be. For all you Harry Potter fans, it's the equivalent of the "Ridicquulous" spell.
