Here in Virginia, we need someone who will actually work for the interests of the Commonwealth+óGé¼Gäós citizens, not just the lobbyist friends of George Allen.+óGé¼-¥
+óGé¼+ôJim Webb is an outstanding leader, a man of thoughtful independence and moral courage,+óGé¼-¥ said Roy Dye, the Greene County Democratic Chair. +óGé¼+ôHe embodies the finest traditions of a true Virginia soldier and public servant. As a Senator, he will be a champion for all of us.+óGé¼-¥

+óGé¼+ôThe endorsements of these ten Democratic Committee Chairs are a sign that the Virginia Democratic Base is rallying behind Jim Webb,+óGé¼-¥ said Kristian Denny Todd, spokeswoman for Webb.
According to the Webb press release, over 60 Virginia politicos are endorsing his candidacy. On Miller's website, I count only 45 Virginians endorsing Harris. In addition, I would point out that I personally know of several Miller "endorsers" who did so very early on, before Webb was in the race, and are now de facto backing Webb. In at least one case, this has been a HUGE help to Webb, as it's one of the most prominent people on Miller's list of "endorsers." In contrast, I am not aware of anyone who has backed off from their endorsement of Jim Webb. Interesting, eh?
Oh, by the way, can the "mainstream media" FINALLY retire their silly story line about how Webb has received the national endorsements while Miller has supposedly received the Virginia ones? That was never true, as Webb has people like Leslie Byrne, Chap Petersen, Phil Puckett, Owen Pickett, and many more. But now, it's wildly wrong, with Webb actually having more Virginia endorsements than Harris Miller AND a near-monopoly on national-level Democratic endorsements. End of story.
I applaud all my fellow Chairs in endorsing Jim, because it is time to get on with the defeat of George Allen in the fall.
This endorsement is not to be construed as my Committee's endorsement, because they all have that decision to make for themselves. However, in my position as a Chair, hopefully adding my voice to the Webb Campaign's efforts will be helpful.
Thanks Lowell.
After the last few years, glad to be ANYWHERE.
Lisa is going to email you soon about the education plan.

I'll look for it, but understand why if there is no immediate response.
I believe it was ROBO actually, but it was good, fast and effective.
Maybe we can do that with a recording from Jay and the rest of those who have endorsed. kc
Virginia Dems have to stand up and just say "no" and support someone who truly represents progressive Democratic values, in action and most importantly, who can actually win.
I know of no PUBLIC switches by endorsers.
