Absentee Voting for Webb

If you're going to be out of town next Tuesday, June 13, but would still like to vote for Jim Webb, you can. Simply go to your local Voter Registrar's office, complete the application and vote immediately (for Webb, of course!), all at the same time.  This can be done until Saturday, June 10, 2006, before 5pm.

If that doesn't work for you, you can go to the State Board of Elections site and download the absentee ballot application.  Print it off, fill it out, and mail it to your local general registrar's office by this Thursday to receive a ballot by mail.

Personally, I'd just go in person...seems a lot "safer" since your ballot can't get "lost in the mail."

This is great information.  I hope it's spread around and gets out there to Virginians that there is more than one way to skin a cat and make their voices heard.

Absentee Ballots from Overseas (John McCreery - 6/7/2006 4:06:08 AM)
If you haven't already, check out the ad on this blog forwww.VoteFromAbroad.org the one that says, "You're the decider." I paid for the ad, I used the site, and my absentee ballot for Webb went into the mail two weeks ago.

Bet you didn't know that if you register, your registrar can send you a ballot by email. You still have to mail it back, but....'nuff said.
