Virginia Progressive and Democratic Portal - BETA

We've worked up a Beta version of a site that displays the latest postings from the Progressive and Democrat blogs around Virginia. It's a blog aggregator in the same family as Waldo's Virginia Political Blogs, Google's Reader, and many others.

Currently the portal covers about 20 Va blogs and more will be added as we move forward.
We'd love to hear your comments and suggestions regarding the site. Do you like it the way it is? It's ok but needs improvement? Scrap it? Anything you'd like say please let us know.
Keep in mind that this is a Beta version and may not work in all browsers - and please let us know if it does break!

I really like the way the mouseover of the left column works.
But that column needs to scroll because as you go down the list, you want to see what has scrolled up in the center/ right.
Hope that makes sense..

The mouseover scheme used here is a real advance.
I think that I would like for the righthand side to scroll independently of the lefthand side, if that can be done in a browser-independent fashion. However, it is already clear to me that I can use the current scheme because of the roller ball on my mouse -- I just have to scroll up and down as needed, as I go from left pane to right pane and back.
My compliments to the chefs.
PS: I use Firefox.

"Democrat" is NOT an adjective!!! It's DEMOCRATIC!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make this change -- you're referring to our party the way the Republicans do. We're the Democratic party. "Democratic" is the adjectival form, not "Democrat". Please!
