More on Matt Pinsker the Webb Stalker: "He is CREEPY!"

From someone who is well acquainted with Matt Pinsker - the new "Hunter Pickels" - check this out:

[Pinsker] is CREEPY. Teachers [at Godwin high school in Richmond] didn't like him, nor did most of the students. He would linger out in the hall and try and listen in on...the Young Dems [when they] met. Please don't give him any more publicity...that's exactly what he wants. He's a ruthless prick, a wannabe Eric Cantor, with a few screws loose.

Lovely, huh?  And this is the guy who the Republican Party of Virginia has hired to stalk...er, "track" Jim Webb?  What is it with these George Allen/George Bush/Eric Cantor Republicans, anyway?  Are they ALL a bunch of sociopaths like this?

Opposites don't always attract.  Maybe this guy is looking to fill Karl Rove's shoes.

I wonder how much (Eric - 6/1/2006 10:48:29 AM)
a stalking gig pays.  But he's probably doing it for brownie points.

I wonder (Nichole - 6/1/2006 11:14:46 AM)
I wonder what year he grad from Godwin... there is where I went to school :)

COMMENT HIDDEN (va.walter - 6/1/2006 12:10:53 PM)

That is a very strange comment. (Lowell - 6/1/2006 12:25:32 PM)
What on earth is wrong with high school kids being in Young Dems or Young Republicans?

Well, hold on... (phriendlyjaime - 6/1/2006 12:27:15 PM)
I think its pretty cool, actually.  I am always really excited to meet high school aged kids at events who are informed and know something about politics.  Many of us (myslef included) did not get into government and the political process until a later age, but hey-not everyone can join the football team or the drama club.  Not saying you are wrong, just disagreeing with you.  :)

Apathy (kestrel9000 - 6/1/2006 12:31:47 PM)
until graduation? Is that what you counsel? I wish I had been more politically savvy in high school. I might not have made a couple of mistakes I made in my twenties.
Never mind what they were. (hangs head)

Woah, woah, woah. Lighten up. (va.walter - 6/1/2006 2:27:28 PM)
Guess I should have used the ":)"  Just joking.  This place has gotten too serious recently.

Can't tell body language on the internet (Lowell - 6/1/2006 2:35:20 PM)
That's why I use "LOL" and :) a lot.  Kind of goofy, but it gets the message across...

freshman at wm? (shorty - 6/1/2006 1:44:54 PM)
Is this the same Matt Pinsker that's a freshman at WM, ran for Student Assembly VP with another freshman, and garnered a whopping 4% of the vote from the student body at large?

Yes (mattworld - 6/1/2006 2:00:02 PM)
Pinsker ran for SA VP at W&M. You can view the three tickets here:

http://sin.wm.edu/modules/elections/StudentAssembly2006/SA/President%20and%20Vice%20President/?return=/modules/elections/StudentAssembly2006/SA/President%20and%20Vice%20President/

I didn't vote for them, but it's worth noting in their defense that:
- Dunn and Pinsker never planned on winning, they just wanted to bring up new ideas in a race that they saw as a battle between a far-left ticket and a centrist ticket
- Many people regarded 4% as a decent showing, given that the Scofield/Norris ticket was the first incumbent ticket ever and was widely expected to win.

Hippocrate (LindsyUva - 6/2/2006 10:29:24 PM)
Matt needs to "get a life" for doing Teenage Republicans? Please. You are obviously political too for reading this blog. And it's odd you make fun of him for going out to make a difference while you are sitting in your armchair posting negative comments on blogs about people you don't even know. Then again, I shouldn't expect a bunch of whiney Dems to understand work ethics...

On the other hand... (DemTilDeath - 6/2/2006 10:34:06 PM)
at least we whiney Dems can spell "hypocrite," so that's something in our favor.

Nice to have you visit us, Lindsy.  If that is, in fact, how you spell your name...

Ha (LindsyUva - 6/2/2006 10:59:04 PM)
Oh the pleasure's all mine, Mr. instantaneous blog comment reply-guy. Anything to get change the subject away from Matt, who probably doesn't deserve any of this B.S.

P.S. I'm an aerospace engineering student; I have no need to have the dictionary memorized.

Well, (DemTilDeath - 6/2/2006 11:27:02 PM)
you make a fine Republican with your spelling skills.  Wee havee suche fonde memoriese ofe Dane Quayle'se "potatoe."

But really, it's good to have a College Republican in our midst.  You guys get a bum rap these days because of the antics your predecessors like Jack Abramoff. How's the College Republican scene at UVA anyway?  My sister got her PhD at UVA, but she didn't become a Republican until after she left the school.

Oh, BTW, everyone... my sister's a Republican, but she's supporting Webb.

How about you Lindsy.  Have you figured out who the best man in the Senate race is yet?

Hey now, (DemTilDeath - 6/2/2006 11:33:05 PM)
you troll rated me for my welcoming comment, Lindsy.  That's not very nice. No need to get so touchy over my pointing out the shortcomings in your spelling of your insult.

Hey, I've got to give you credit where it's due... at least you spelled "whiney" right.  I bet W couldn't spell that.
