Jim followed by a rather large group of volunteers.

Jim looking into the crowd.

Ingrid leads the chants on her favorite instrument - the megaphone.
|
Jim leads the way (get used to it - more of this coming).
|
Greeting a parade watcher.
|
The ladies carrying some major signage. Great work!
|
Chap leads a small group toward the parade route.
|
Jim waits for our turn to march.
|
Checking out the troops before we get rolling.
|
Waiting in the shade before the fun begins. |
Yikes.
|
Jim interviewing with NBC4 News.
|
The crowd grows restless - they want to march. |
Ingrid warms up. |
Direction? Not sure. Supporting? Webb all the way. |
Webb War Wagon. Sort of. |
One group behind the first of three vehicles. |
The lead group gets going. |
Do it yourself signage - it's all good. |
A better War Wagon. |
Taking over the street - and this is only part of the whole group. |
Pausing to pose for a few pics. |
Jim leading the way. |
Signs everywhere. A sign of things to come? |
Greeting a voter - for the 2012 election cycle. |
If there weren't so many signs up front you could see how many signs there were further back. |
Jim walks along the parade route. |
More walking - well duh, it's a parade. |
Shaking more hands. |
So many signs. |
March, march, march. |
A handful of Miller supporters look on in dismay as Webb and his supporters approach. |
A little drink. Oh, and more signs. |
They're lining up to meet Jim! Oh... Never mind. Still a nice pic of Jim greeting the crowd. |
The first of the Webb supporters crosses the finish line. Great work!

We really miss Pickels! We're just hoping that the new guy's girlfriend has as much, er, spunk as Pickels GF did. |
Jim in the foreground, Jim's shadow in the background. George Allen must be a big fan of Jim's - he doesn't want to miss a single minute of the action. |
After reviewing the tape, this guy will probably start asking himself why he's supporting Allen. |

Big Brother Picture Taking by Allen's Staff (PM - 5/30/2006 10:33:13 PM)
Nice pictures. Maybe you should offer to take pictures of Webb supporters for Allen, for a fee of course. Call the Allen campaign up. "Hey, you guys, I don't know why you care, but if you want to see the solid Americans supporting us, we'll charge you $50 a photo, etc."
Lots of great pictures, but... (Neal2028 - 5/30/2006 10:42:23 PM)
It looks like you all were having lots of fun, but a couple things:
First, I love the idea of the combat boots and why he's wearing them, but good God, they've got to be uncomfortable to walk long distances in (I refuse to wear boots (cowboy or otherwise) when big walking is involved).
And, I wish Webb could lose the hat and sunglasses sometimes--I think it would make a better picture if he didn't have them on (especially the glasses--the hat is kind of nifty).
my, are we over-analyzing every detail (JennyE - 5/30/2006 10:52:59 PM)
But PR-wise, I think you're right. Seeing people's eyes makes them look more personable.
Great job, Eric. (Lowell - 5/31/2006 5:21:08 AM)
You'll have to teach me this html table thing someday! :)
Just Super ...The TurnOut and the Fun (kevinceckowski - 5/31/2006 8:17:00 AM)
Great Pictures of everyone. Recognize quite a few folks, Ingrid, and Lowell for sure. Ingrid, you are too much. Love the hats, glad we got 2 good parades out of them. The flags, the sparkler-pom poms, the kids, the red wagon holding up and of course the megaphone. Just too cool. All the makings of a fun day, and the turnout was just too cool. kc
