Subject: Re: Corporate Lobbyist Elected to US Senate?Fellow Democrats,
I was suspicious as soon as I heard my former colleague Harris Miller was running for Senate. I worked with Harris as a Legislative Assistant in Senator John Durkin's office from 1977-1979.
Harris was the Legislative Director and his lack of dedication to people's causes was truly notable and disappointing. As a Senate staffer, I was investigating major oil company overcharges, which led to the unraveling of the largest criminal conspiracy in American history (at the time), and Harris was completely non-commital and unhelpful. I urge you to read the article by Todd Smyth and vote for Webb. Miller simply cannot be trusted--he's never done anything to support main stream Democratic causes, but is simply a Washington insider looking for another rip-off. Besides that there's nothin in his past to suggest he'd even make a competent Senator, much less a progressive dedicated one!Chris Burke

Thanks, great work!
Mine was too long, so I need to get it down to about 150 and resend. That will be first on my to do list for work on Tuesday. ;)
It's always been so interesting to me that he keeps talking about how he has been in the trenches, but yet can not really give an example of WHAT he has done.
What year was Miller born anyway?
