Webb events and LTEs

This weekend, we will be marching with Jim Webb in Falls Church.  As Harris Miller and his staff of two will also be there, we hope that everyone who can will come out in support of Jim Webb.

This morning, I wrote a letter to send to editors.  Using this website, you can easily send your leter out by email to over 30 newspapers/journals/television stations/radio stations and magazines.  If you have not phonebanked or donated $$ (or even if you have) I think you should sit down for an hour, write an LTE, and send it out to as many papers/etc. will accept them.

We have less than 3 weeks left.  Let's Rock and ROLL!!!!!

Miller has tons of events this weekend; Webb doesn't have any till Monday.  Sorry, but I will be honest--why the hell not?

Second-are there going to be any "Women for Webb" events ever?  Or recognition?

like I may be busting my ass a bit much, and trying to get mailers and fliers and phone calls and all kinds of shit...I don't know.  Or I am just being a bitch.

According to the campaign website it looks like Webb will be doing a number of events over the next few days--he's doing a speech in Dumfries tomorrow morning (a prelude to the Rolling Thunder event on the Mall tomorrow)--I suspect he'll be spending time with veterans tomorrow after that event; Sunday there's the Falls Church parade and Vienna Memorial Day festival; he also has several events down in the southwestern part of the state this upcoming week.

I would love to go to the meeting in the AM; alas, my partner doesn't drive and it makes no sense for me to drive 2 hours there, 2 hours back, then 2 hours BACK for the parade.  Sucks, but so be it.
