Didn't Schumer tell Miller to call off his dogs?

Here is the latest email from the Miller campaign taking shots at Webb (not a word on what Miller has done in the past):
Beyer Deadline Email

Virginia Democrats have done a great deal as a team.

Together we helped Mark Warner beat Mark Earley in 2001. We helped Tim Kaine beat Jerry Kilgore last year. Heck, this year we've already beaten the Republicans in the special election that made Mark Herring a Virginia State Senator. Now it's time to support a Virginia Democrat who has been on our team all the way: Harris Miller.

Please click here to make a contribution to his campaign today.

You would think that someone who wanted to carry the Democratic banner into the general election at the top of the ticket in November would know how important it is to stand up for Democratic values. But Harris's opponent Jim Webb voted for George Bush and campaigned for George Allen in 2000. Just last month, he said, "Ronald Reagan was a really fine president on the issues that I cared about." That isn't the kind of leader we need to bring real change to Washington.

Please make a pre-deadline contribution today to a candidate who knows Virginia Democrats: Harris Miller.

Harris Miller is one of my best friends. He's been there for me and my family when I needed him. He's been there for Virginia Democrats, too. That's why he's endorsed by so many Virginia legislators. Now he needs our help as he goes into the June 13th Democratic Primary for U.S. Senate. The last fundraising reporting deadline before the primary is tomorrow, and we need to show that Virginia Democrats stand united behind one of our own as we head into the "home stretch."

Please beat the deadline with a contribution today.

Thank you,

Don Beyer

Sounds like another call from Chuck Schumer (Lowell - 5/23/2006 1:33:48 PM)
is in order, STAT!!!

These DSCC leaders (Arturo - 5/24/2006 10:12:16 PM)
don't act like leaders.  Are they looking out for us?  What are they so worried about?  That Miller won't line their pockets any longer?

Does anybody know? (Loudoun County Dem - 5/23/2006 2:42:52 PM)
Did Webb actually campaign for Allen or simply endorse him?

I seem to remember Webb saying he didn't actively campaign for Allen but I would like to have corroborating proof, I am crafting a pro-Webb statement to deliver at the next Loudoun County Democratic Committee meeting and I want my statements to be solid.

Thanks

makes me sick.  If he ever runs again for something, I will not be able to support him.
