For those Republicans who've been wondering where Mark Warner has been recently and why he hasn't been seen with Tim Kaine more frequently, take this! That's right, Gov. Warner last night helped his successor and loyal lieutenant, Kaine, raise $1 million for his campaign. Does that sound like Mark Warner doesn't care who wins the governor's race this year? Right, didn't think so.As far as where Mark Warner has been the past month or so, he's been busy doing one of his main jobs -- drumming up business and jobs for Virginia . Successful entrepreneur that he is, it's not surprising that Warner would be successful conducting trade missions and attracting millions of dollars in investment to our state. At the end of a recent trip to Asia, for instance, along with "dozens of business excutives," Warner announced that "a Japanese company would invest $36 million to expand its facility in Botetourt County, in the southwestern part of the state."
In other words, whether he's fighting for Virginia or for Tim Kaine, Gov. Mark Warner is truly Virginia's "million dollar baby."
