I see five people carrying Miller signs.  That's got to be a record for him, right?  Were those "paid volunteers" (that phrase from his camp cracks me up) or actual "volunteers?"

There were about 25 Webb supporters there at least...plus most of the Arlington Dems I talked to, come to think of it.  I'm not sure if the Miller people were "paid volunteer" or not, but you see those same guys at every event, so it very well could be...

I'm not sure who the Allen supporter was, just a typical angry white male in a gas-guzzling SUV.  Stereotypes come to life! Ha.

is actually a very decent person, who thinks very highly of what I try to accomplish in my office, and has been very supportive of me.  He is one of the nicest Republicans you will ever meet in Arlington. I have not talked with him since the parade, but generally, he is a good sport!

"Good bye."  It's hard to tell, but it seemed like it.  "Good bye" is a logical answer.

If he's a good guy Republican, maybe he'll follow Jim into the Democratic Party after his election :)  We need as many decent people as we can get to come to the light.

with the Miller supporters chanting the same thing.  And you're voting for Harris Miller why?  I don't get it.

It was a parade.  It was for fun.  I wasn't there, but it looked like they were all having a good time.  Kind of like a ball game or something where the supporters of different teams chant things. 

I hope you decide to vote for Miller or Webb based on the characteristics of the candidates, their potential to good things for the state and the country and NOT as a reaction to something like this video.  That's the kind of shortsighted thinking that got America George Bush as president.

Ole "jeff" must be out trolling. Check out his/her comment under the lead story on Bush speech "Bush's Wide-Open Border Policy" (already racked up 4 "troll points" at that story). It is very pro outsourcing"; thought ole "jeff" might have been an Allen troll, but it is now obvious, it's a Harris "The Shiller" Miller troll! Which type is worse? 

What the video shows is Webb supporters leading the chant against Allen, with Miller supporters enthusiastically joining in.  What the video doesn't show is many other Democrats - supporters of Sally Baird, Sharon Davis, Chris Zimmerman, etc, etc. - also participating.  The point is that ALL Democrats are strongly united on one thing: George Allen must go!  Obviously, you are no Democrat if you think we're "losers" for pointing this out.

So thats why every block there was a bunch of clapping people... becuase we're nuts, it just makes so much sense now!

How was the general parade reception for Webb versus Allen?  I hope the Allen folks got booed a lot!  In Arlington, I can't imagine too much positive response, that's for sure.
