Yesterday, Warren Fiske in the Virginian Pilot wrote: "Miller promised to support an increase in the minimum wage and oppose making Bush administration tax cuts permanent."
This directly contradicts previous Miller statements on the issue:
1) "Extending the tax cuts, yeah I love the idea I think it+óGé¼Gäós a great idea."
[The Politics Program with Mark Plotkin, 2/17/06]
2) "We encourage the House to move swiftly to pass a tax cut, and the Senate to follow."
[ITAA Press release, March 8, 2001.]
Can we say Flip? How about Flop?

I would not have expected anything less from this weasel.
Flip Flop (Alicia - 4/20/2006 9:47:07 PM)
It's his pattern. He probably just figured out his prior stance supports Bush?
He is so damn slimy.
No, he realized his opinion pissed off Democrats (DanG - 4/21/2006 1:06:06 AM)
And rather than stick by it, Harris says what he has to say to get elected.
Wasn't there also that whole paper-trail thing? (DanG - 4/20/2006 11:05:59 PM)
While he was a lobbyist, he was against paper trails in voting. Then he decides to be a candidate, and he supports them. This guy is a total slime, and will do whatever the polls tell him. No integrity at ALL.

says it all. I agree with Arturo.
