For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of meeting Dave "Mudcat" Saunders - senior advisor on the Webb for Senate campaign and co-author, with Steve Jarding, of the new book "Foxes in the Henhouse" - you're missing a true American original.  Fortunately, "Mudcat" has now joined the rest of the "World Wide Circle Jerk," as he calls it (translation from Mudcat-ese: the blogosphere).  Here's what Mudcat has to say about the blogs:

Surprisingly to me, I quickly came to the realization that the blogosphere was not a "modernization" that threatened my people. In fact, it+óGé¼Gäós just the opposite. Due to the fact that "mainstream news" is interested in ratings and only 21% of the nation+óGé¼Gäós television viewers live in rural America, the blogosphere could become the answer to our prayer that all Americans will start looking at the plight of rural America. After much thought and meditation, I+óGé¼Gäóve decided to finally come out of the closet. My name is Mudcat, and I+óGé¼Gäóm a blogger.

Pretty cool.  Now, when's Mudcat going to come on Raising Kaine and tell us how Jim Webb's gonna help win back the South for the Democrats?

When? (Teddy - 4/7/2006 7:35:49 PM)
When will Mudcat show up? I'd like to hear in his own words about his exchange with Harris Miller down yonder in what I think is Mudcat's home territory. And I'd like to hear how he's going to help bring the petticoat tail of Virginia back home to the Democrats for Jim Webb.
