Does anyone else find it disgusting that Afghanistan, the country we invaded after 9/11 to remove the Islamic fundamentalists, is now on the verge of executing a man because he converted to Christianity from Islam? Meanwhile, the Taliban, far from eliminated, "have stepped up their insurgency in the past year, causing a spike in fighting across Afghanistan." And "Production [of opium] has ballooned since the Taliban, who banned opium at the end of their rule, were ousted in 2001."
This, by the way, is the same country that President Bush touts as a great success story. Not.
