And now for someone who definitely is NOT a Jacksonian Democrat, we bring you George W. Bush. That's right, a man who favors the wealthy, well-connected, and elite time and time again. A man who figured out a way to avoid putting himself in physical danger when his country was at war, while sending thousands to their deaths in a botched, bungled operation in Iraq. A man who builds up huge amounts of debt to pass down to future generations. A man who failed to act decisively when one of America's great cities - ironically, the same place where Andrew Jackson won his greatest military victory - is almost destroyed by a hurricane. A man who's divided the country instead of uniting it. A man who claimed to be a "man of the people" but actually grew up at prep schools in New England. That's right, George W. Bush, the anti-Andrew Jackson President.
By the way, Mr. Anti-Andrew Jackson has now fallen to just 34% approval in the latest CBS News poll. My only question is, what are those 34% thinking?!?
