Update: Lieberman Retains Committee Chairmanship

Well, boys and girls, according to the just-released AP article available at this link; http://www.newsday.com/news/po... it appears that Joe Lieberman may hold on to his Homeland Security Committee chairmanship after all.

In particular, I thought we RK bloggers might like to read this from the AP article mentioned above:  

"Also a factor is an army of liberal bloggers who are eager to see Lieberman drummed out. Their antipathy to him goes back to his vocal support of the war in Iraq and his 2006 re-election bid."

I guess we'll know for sure whether Lieberman will retain his committee chairmanship by tomorrow or Wednesday.
