Ralph Nader Ends His Campaign in Disgrace

After the results were in Tuesday night, Ralph Nader was interviewed on Fox News.  His statement about President-Elect Obama was so outrageous even Fox found it to be offensive.

His choice, basically, is whether he's going to be Uncle Sam for the people of this country or Uncle Tom for the giant corporations.

When asked by a shocked Fox News anchor to explain, Nader says "Its simple, he has gone along with corporate power from the moment he entered politics in the state senate..."

Later, Fox asked "I just wonder if in hindsight you wish you used a phrase other than 'Uncle Tom?'"  Nader responded rather arrogantly and said "Not at all."

As a former Ralph Nader fan... (cycle12 - 11/7/2008 9:07:04 PM)
...I have forgiven him for many past transgressions, albeit never to the point of voting for him, but this ends my admiration of him.

Agreed; goodbye, Ralph...

At one point in the election.... (Bryan Scrafford - 11/8/2008 1:08:10 PM)
...I talked to a gentleman who was a huge fan of Nader's during the 1970's. His reaction to Nader now is that "he just needs attention." He continued by pointing out that it's unfortunate because his message did have some power back in the 70's, but his constant need for attention has pretty much ruined that.

Wish I'd seen it before, but I still love it.

Leave it to Nader (JD - 11/9/2008 4:53:57 PM)
to be outclassed by Fox News.
