My name is TurboAlto and I am an Election Junkie

I don't know what I'm going to do on Wednesday. I don't want to admit how many hours I have spent reading all of the political information I could read. A lot... a whole lot.
I check the sites first thing in the morning, at lunch and in the evening before I go to bed.
I spent a few days in October in Nebraska -- they do not realize that politics is a contact sport -- I had to phone home to VA to get a fix. "What do the polls say?"
And now, thankfully or regretably, it is all coming to an end. (I pray for a happy ending.) And I will be left without my fix.
I'm taking Wednesday off partly due to the fact that, in 2000 when I went to bed Al Gore was being declared President. I'm not going to make that mistake again. I want to be able to stay up as late as needed to watch.
But I think I'm mostly taking Wednesday off to start my withdrawal in peace and quiet.
Does anyone have Dr. Drew's number?

Word! :)
But that's the great thing about Virginia (aznew - 11/3/2008 5:32:43 PM)
Meaningful elections are never more than a year away!
Dude! VA 2009 - We elect a Governor! (Josh - 11/3/2008 5:47:01 PM)
Get in there and tear it up.
Lets not forget the House of Delegates! n/t (aznew - 11/3/2008 6:05:13 PM)
And we don't have to tell anyone (KathyinBlacksburg - 11/3/2008 6:05:27 PM)
how important it will be to elect Brian Moran, Creigh Deeds or Terry McAuliff over Bob McDonnell. Virginia will be gone for a very long time if we don't pull it off in 2009. So losing isn't an option.
