There's a very interesting interview with Mark Warner at DailyKos by someone known as "Reality Bite Back" (who is that?). Key lines by Warner:1) "Virginia is a southern state. It's not part of New England. It's the state where the Christian Right makes its home. It's 2 to 1 Republican, but there is a way to win."
2) How can the Democrats "compete with a Republican Party that caters to fear and the reptile brain?" Warner's response; "counter with hope."
