Obama's closing: One last hard working week for change and hope

Don't believe for a second this election is over.  Don't think for a minute that power concedes.  We have to work like our future depends on it in this last week, because it does.

Obama is Obama again.  High minded, and grand, in the greatest tradition of the American spirit, but this time grounded deeply in policy specifics and political reality.

When I commented back at the 2007 JJ that Obama wasn't taking us to the mountaintop, but if he did, he would be unstoppable, I was hoping for this.

We are going to the mountaintop on Tuesday, seizing the reigns of power. Then on Wednesday we all go to work to rebuild the greatest nation in history.

...if it was 350 votes. If we fall short in one state and McCain wins, then we're likely to have a Palin presidency, which scares me more than a Bush presidency. Remember 2000.
