For the home stretch, I'll post a daily open thread where you all can discuss ideas and suggestions for last-week action, with some pointers from me as well. FIVE DAYS LEFT OF IN-PERSON ABSENTEE VOTING, with this Saturday as the last day. Email your friends and family and bank their votes now! More in Sunday's diary and at Obama's Vote Early in Virginia page. (Check with your local registrars office on times, include whether they're open Saturday).
Today, I'm going to highlight Obama's effort to get our neighboring supporters to Virginia to support the GOTV effort. If you (or someone you know) have time to travel to Virginia, here's our "sister city" page to let the campaign know that, including what rides or housing is needed as part of the trip. And on that front, if you need or can offer a ride, the campaign's ride board is here. Plus, if you're here in Virginia and able to host one of these visitors, please let the campaign know here.
