Perriello would be a perfect fit for this district (uva08 - 10/25/2008 6:21:33 PM)
His economic priorities favor the overwhelming majority of the residents in the 5th District. Other reps in Congress wouldn't feel the need to avoid him because of his record of inflamatory comments. He would be part of the majority and be in a better position to get things done for the district. His world experience would make him a more knowledgable and credible voice when it comes to foreign affairs.
Hopefully my fellow 5th District residents will disregard non-issues and vote on the issues that put food on the table, put gas in the tank, pay the bills, ensure a better education system, and restore our standing in the world.
