It has long been rumored that Senator Chuck Hagel may break from the pack to support Obama or perhaps Senator Richard Lugar (Indiana) may support Obama based on his direction for U.S. foreign policy. My prediction: By Sunday, a sitting member of Congress from the Republican Party will endorse Obama. If that occurs, all bets are off as far as a landslide victory for Obama on November 4th...as the Republican Exodus Continues...
You know that Barack Obama has the judgment to lead. You know he's got a vastly grater chance of healing our economy than his opponent. Even as McCain fabricates otherwise, you know Obama will advance our nation's strength. You know that that his is the constructive agenda that will preserve the best of America while healing what's broken.
You also know that the false promise of trickle down theory and massive privatization and deregulation has caused some of the huge problems we currently have. Democrats know what the extremists on the "right" do not--balance in all things.
You know that Democrats have led from near the center. The record shows it. You know Americans fare better under Democrats. And you know we re sorely needing a President who'll promote peace through strength AND diplomacy.
The false promisse of a supposedly "more qualified" (on foreign policy) McCain is jsut that a false promise. You know as do we that he has no executive experience. You know that when confronted wiht a choice, John McCain consistently maks bad choices, reacts in anger which frightens even those in his own party.
