Well, it was another lovely week in the Virginia House of Delegates, a happy mixture of labor-baiting, castration-advancing, immigrant-bashing, homophobia-venting and assorted other pleasantries from the Republicans who run the joint -- every one of them deeply imbued with the gentle grace of God-fearin' values. Just don't get in their way, okay?
And so it goes, as Morse rips the Republicans in Virginia's House of Delegates a metaphorical "new one" for pushing legislation to benefit 871 Virginia familes at the cost of $138 million per year, for raiding the General Fund, and for a laundry list of idiocy and impotence that makes George W. Bush look like George Washington! Great stuff. Gordon Morse is now, officially, my favorite writer about Virginia politics. Sorry Kenton, Waldo, J.C., Ben, Josh, et al. You rock too, but Morse takes it to another level! :)
