On Friday I attended a press conference conducted by Walter Tejada, the Chairman of the Arlington Country Board, who encouraged Viriginians to take the “Obama Tax Cut Challenge” and find out just how much they would see their taxes drop under an Obama administration.
Chairman Tejada explained the differences between Barack Obama and John McCain on taxes, including Barack Obama’s plan to cut taxes for 95% of workers and their families, eliminate income taxes for seniors making less than $50,000 and give struggling homeowners a mortgage credit worth 10% of the interest they pay on their mortgage.
