As I talk to Republicans, I'm amused by what seems to be their main arguement for McCain that I've heard from almost everyone: "Obama is risky because they're afraid he'll mess up the country."

As if things could get much worse, especially coming from the group that brought us George W. Bush (aka the "Reformer with Results"):

Economy in the gutter,
Two mismanaged wars,
Energy crisis,
No progress on Health care,
No progress on SS or Medicare reform,
Huge expansion of government,
$500 billion deficits,
Double the national debt,
Nonexistant diplomacy,
No progress with Palestine, North Korea, Iran,
Lack of support for education,
etc.,etc.

What audacity to say Obama would mess up the country!  As long as he doesn't allow Canada to invade us and annex our country he couldn't possibly do worse.  The bar is set so low.
