Did anyone else see this?  I have no way of knowing the quality of this poll, but it did catch my eye.
Perhaps Obama staff need to start flooding back in.  This is very interesting also because Obama pulled most or all of his official campaign out of the state.

Update: Apparently the campaign continues to run strong in ND due to "a network of volunteers continues to work out of the offices."

Go volunteers!

According to the Grand Forks Herald:"Pollsters interviewed 606 North Dakotans who described themselves as likely voters from Oct. 6-8. The work was done by the Public Affairs Institute at Minnesota State University Moorhead."

I was in North Dakota, thegools (vatechhokies50 - 10/15/2008 10:19:16 PM)
This is my home state, thegools, yet, I'm Virginia Tech Alumni... go figure :-)

First, a correction... the Poll you refer to is in the Fargo Forum... not the Grand Forks Herald.

One of my parents' good friends, Jack Zaleski http://www.in-forum.com/articl... Zaleski, is the Managing Editor of the Forum Editorial page... he gave me the inside scoop on this... he told me that the bounce that McCain received from the Palin nomination was over and done with.  He also told me that there are some moderate Republicans that are going towards the way of Obama (and many of the young college studemts)... and... all politics is local... McCain voted against the Farm Bill... and I actually agree with McCain's vote... but agriculture is the lifeblood of North Dakota... so he screwed up there. I don't think Obama wins at the end of the day, but it sure is nice to see a race there.
