This is hilarious!

"I had 15-20 false alarms where I thought I saw Osama bin Laden driving a taxi; I was embarrassed to be wrong but mostly disappointed I wasn't right!"

"Also, in an effort to bone up on foreign policy, I went to the Times Square area to see a film called 'The Bush Doctrine' - it was NOT about politics!"

*"...so many interesting people [at the UN], though I have to say say I was disheartened by how many of them were foreigners; when Sen. McCain and I are elected we're gonna get those jobs back in America."

The McCain-Palin job creation plan (Rob - 9/28/2008 8:26:28 AM)
A lot more work for comedians!

As long as they're not outsourced! (Lowell - 9/28/2008 8:35:49 AM)

no spoof needed (Cliff Garstang - 9/28/2008 8:44:20 AM)
to make that woman a joke

Excellent! I forgot to record SNL (Pain - 9/28/2008 9:19:44 AM)

I still like the original, though.  Must higher comedic value.

Even better was the debate (humanfont - 9/28/2008 10:10:01 AM)

Check out around 4:30-5:30.  This is something we need to hammer home with conservative freinds.  You can't trust McCain.  Regardless of what you think of Obama, or Palin.  You can't trust McCain.  His entire political life has been spent in read and react mode without any core principles.  If its politically expediant, he'll push through a major liberal cause, campaign finance reform with the most liberal senator (Russ Feingold).  If he's pissed at you because you said he fathered a black baby out of wedlock; then he'll fight your tax cuts.
And conservatives shouldn't be comforted by having Palin on the ticket. Forget the questions about her intellect; that never has won a conservative over. They need to understand that she is Hugo Chavez of the north jamming through high taxes on the largest industry in her state to transfer wealth to those who have not worked for it.  She used state funds to take over money losing industry such as the local dairy because they couldn't operate in a free market.  Once in power she becomes queen Sarah, answerable to no one, with no cause but her own.  Just ask Lyda Green, Republican head of the state senate in Alaska.
McCain and Palin ask YOU to serve a cause greater than yourself, but you must realise this cause is their own vanity and desire for power.  Obama says "we can", McCain says, "you must".  One wants to offer you opportunity, the other orders.

Weren't some of those mishmash answers... (FMArouet21 - 9/28/2008 11:05:01 AM)

verbatim repetitions of Palin's actual answers with Couric?

Unbelievable.

This Tina Fey skit seems destined to go viral and become part of the national conversation this week before the debate on Thursday.

The bar has been set very low for Palin's debate performance. Can Biden highlight her robotic memorization of talking points and expose her ignorance without appearing to be overbearing, condescending and patronizing?

Biden can deliver a stinger with a genial smile, so perhaps he can deftly shred what little remains of Palin's credibility among the "undecideds." The "Base" will never abandon her.

You gotta see this...it's almost as incoherent as the real thing.

Hilarious! Like watching her mind from the inside in real time! (FMArouet21 - 9/28/2008 11:45:48 AM)

It's a Direct Quote from Palin (Josh - 9/29/2008 2:02:53 AM)

unbelievable!

Wow, look what's up in Alaska! (Lowell - 9/28/2008 11:51:31 AM)

Hahahahahaha!

I love it (Tiderion - 9/28/2008 2:42:09 PM)
but I feel so bad for Alaska. Their jump onto the national circuit should have been better than this. I know they produce real Americans up there so its sad that their senators are under investigation and their governor is ruining their image.
