Palin Draws a Blank Again

If this is your running mate, you'd better do something to shake up the election.  Suspend the campaign?  Rush to Washington and have the President summon your opponent?  Threaten to cancel the debate?  McCain hopes it'll be enough.

Looks like a loser to me.  We'll see.

Too cute for words (Teddy - 9/24/2008 10:21:28 PM)
The interviewer is not supposed to nag and re-ask questions. The talking points run out. That's when you smile just between us girls and say I'll get back to you.

Wow (Barbara - 9/24/2008 10:26:23 PM)
Did she really say "I'll try to find ya some and I'll bring em to ya".  Ah, the folksy, 'she's one of us', touch.

Well she does inspire, that's for sure.  Everytime I hear her speak she inspires me to make another donation to Obama.

OMG (varealist - 9/24/2008 10:35:36 PM)
OMG

Embarrassing (Ingrid - 9/24/2008 11:07:05 PM)
No wonder McPalin is behind in the polls.

Golly Gee (Pain - 9/25/2008 9:00:23 AM)

Well gee willikers, Katie, I'm gonna have Senator McCain get back weth ya on that one.  Yeah.  Where's my list again...oh here it is.

2.  What else have ye reformed?

OK, Got it Katie.  Now, would ye like some jerky?

You are on a roll (Hugo Estrada - 9/25/2008 9:19:13 AM)
One funny comment after another :)

I aim to please :) (Pain - 9/25/2008 9:23:01 AM)

I'm glad you get me...most people just look at me and stare.

OK, I'm really starting to get scared now. (Pain - 9/25/2008 9:49:17 AM)

In Palin's absence, messages left with the governor's office are usually returned by the McCain campaign. A recent request for information was answered by a governor's spokesman with a sad smile and a shake of the head. Even a message left on the cell phone of a hometown friend of Palin was returned by a McCain campaign staffer.

"A grainy YouTube video surfaced Wednesday showing Sarah Palin being blessed in her hometown church three years ago by a Kenyan pastor who prayed for her protection from 'witchcraft' as she prepared to seek higher office. The video shows Palin standing before Bishop Thomas Muthee in the pulpit of the Wasilla Assembly of God church, holding her hands open as he asked Jesus Christ to keep her safe from 'every form of witchcraft.' 'Come on, talk to God about this woman. We declare, save her from Satan,' Muthee said as two attendants placed their hands on Palin's shoulders. 'Make her way my God. Bring finances her way even for the campaign in the name of Jesus. ... Use her to turn this nation the other way around.'"

The prevalence of witches (Teddy - 9/25/2008 10:45:39 AM)
is a fact. That's because most women are witches, whose purpose is to rule, castrating men. Of course. (Snark) I mean, if the parochial high school which I attended one year can say an entire rosary to win their next football game, not to mention a few Our Fathers for Notre Dame to beat Army in football (I was an Army brat, and did not take kindly to this) then how much more appropriate to armor up a female going into political combat---- sort of Joan of Arc-ish, no?

Another trainwreck . . . (JPTERP - 9/25/2008 3:04:25 PM)

Notice around the 55 second mark where Palin looks down -- it looks like she's cribbing talking points from a cheat sheet.

Her answer is absolutely nonsensical.

This is just comedy, now. (Pain - 9/25/2008 3:14:16 PM)
