Arlington Precinct & Building Ambassador Team Meeting

Do you live in a high rise or apartment complex?  Have you been looking for a way to get involved in this year's election that does not require a lot of time?  If you answered "yes" then you need to become a Building Ambassador.  Arlingtonians have a unique challenge in reaching out to our neighbors who live in high rise buildings. Since these building are not easily accessible we have launched the Building Ambassador initiative, in coordination with the campaigns and ACDC, to outreach to these voters and get out the vote.  This is a great way to get involved with your community and help the Democrats reach "80 in 08"!

On Tuesday, Sept 23rd, Arlington Democratic Precinct Operations and the Obama Campaign will be hosting an organizing event to recruit and unite Building Ambassadors and general volunteers with their Precinct Captains.

I live in Arlington and want to help out with all these efforts, but I'm so busy at work. I'm fortunate to have a job where I get paid to help Obama (I work for a labor union), but I want to be part of the effort to turn Virginia blue and I don't have enough time!

if you live in an apartment and can even do something as simple as post information in a public area you can help - or maybe you know someone else in your building who also might be interested.  spreading the word about what we're diong is something that takes almost no time that can help a lot also
