UPDATE: Believe it or not, now John McCain wants to do to health care what he helped do to the financial sector: "Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation." But it gets worse: McCain also wants to privatize Social Security while he's at it, putting at risk the retirement of millions of Americans. Needless to say, that is NOT the "change we need!"

Here's Barack Obama speaking about this today (Lowell - 9/20/2008 2:52:13 PM)
we all need to just start mailing it (chiefsjen - 9/20/2008 6:58:19 PM)
to the networks... olbermann, maddow are certainly good starts.... they'll talk about it, show it, then it'll get picked up more!
I wonder who created the ad (Glant - 9/20/2008 3:30:57 PM)
It is not an Obama ad. The disclaimer at the end only says that it was "created by a concerned private citizen."
I hope one of the 527 groups will take the ad and put it on television.
Looks like just a regular citizen (Lowell - 9/20/2008 3:33:40 PM)
To me, it just goes to show what the democratization of technology and the tremendous amount of grassroots/netroots talent out there can do. I mean, this ad's as good or better than anything I've seen from any campaign this cycle. I agree: someone should pay to run this thing all over the place!
I love the ad! (mishanti - 9/20/2008 5:01:04 PM)
Any time we can use McCain's words against him we MUST. People wouldn't believe it unless they heard him say it themselves. This man is a danger to the USA and the rest of the world.
Very good ad. (kevinceckowski - 9/20/2008 5:45:04 PM)
I HOPE more people can see it. Are other sites showing it? I love the part that John McCain bent over backward twice to get George Bush elected. Went everywhere for him and voted on all the most important issues with him. He is so proud of that record. YIKES!
When he said that (Tiderion - 9/20/2008 6:17:20 PM)
it sounded like he was telling o'reilly a zinger of a secret. As in, "Surprise, I'm not a maverick! LOLZ!"
Given enough coverage, this could go viral online and remove the need for putting it on TV.
Getting the ad on the air . . . (JPTERP - 9/20/2008 8:56:03 PM)
A good suggestion on this one over at DKos.
Here are two organizations that you can e-mail and/or contribute in order to request that they air this ad.
BraveNew Films

This one definitely needs to get some air-time. One of the independent issues groups above may actually be able to get it done.
That ad needs serious air time (relawson - 9/20/2008 11:19:20 PM)
