Dontcha just love that folksy, homey, humble Republican Presidential nominee, Sarah Palin!? We've been noting all along that McCain is trapped by the base power of his running mate. I wonder what other great things we could expect from a PALIN-McCain administration? Hopefully, we'll never find out.

When he said Palin is considering dropping McCain from the ticket.
Watch out--if they win, she'll poison his Ensure. (Silence Dogood - 9/19/2008 10:14:07 AM)
If they win... she's not going to an undisclosed location (Josh - 9/19/2008 11:36:35 AM)
She's going to be front and center; In every policy meeting, in every discussion. She will rally the X-tians, the conservatives without conscience, the creationists, the global warming deniers, the arial wolf hunters, the creation defilers to force their way into every major debate and force her into every discussion.
They're not just fighting for an election their fighting to radically re-create the nation.
She's nuts (Ron1 - 9/19/2008 11:41:35 AM)
It also really shows you just how deluded and beyond reaching the majority of the "Christian right" are. They vote entirely on cultural identification, and care not one whit about foreign policy or economic views. They continue to happily be used by the other large constituency Republican coalition, the economic royalists.
I'm very agnostic (leaning atheist) generally, but God help us all if this crazy person is sworn in as Vice President. I'll be outta here, that's for damn sure.
You don't know the half of it (Catzmaw - 9/19/2008 1:22:43 PM)
I've been on another, right-leaning, website today where someone posted a letter from some guy named Bramlett who claimed he could see from his analysis of Palin's name (Sarah, wife of Abraham, yada, yada) and from observing her as a born-again Christian witnessing to the Lord, etc., etc. that she has been appointed by God to effectuate His purposes during these times. As proof of the astuteness of his determination Bramlett noted that he'd been on the money when deciding that Netanyahu was an instrument of God. Where do people come up with this stuff?
