I was talking to a conservative voter... (Dan - 9/17/2008 10:19:11 PM)
I was talking to a neighbor of mine in Nevada, who seemed like a conservative leaning towards Obama. I got in a discussion about the whole elitist issue. I said I felt more comfortable with Obama because I know the kinds of people he will appoint to work on key issues in his cabinet. I used Judy Feder as an example. I pointed out how she is a health care expert and a Georgetown Professor that had worked for the Clinton Administration. I asked him, "wouldn't you prefer a President who appoints the best minds in America to solve our problems?" Of course he said yes. Judy is an example of exactly the kind of person we should be sending to Congress: An expert on critical issues of the day. What is Frank Wolf an expert on? What does he bring to the table? That's a question I wish the voters of the 10th district were asking themselves. Go Judy!
