Alaska Women Reject Palin

The Alaska blog Mudflats has the details of an anti-Sarah Palin rally by Alaskan women, who pulled together a crowd of 1400 on very short notice.  The author describes it as the largest political rally in Anchorage's history.  This demonstration received no coverage at all in the press, but the much smaller pro-Sarah Palin demonstration welcoming her home this weekend received plenty.

Nice find.  Obama should make a swing through Anchorage for a rally!

At the very least, they should organize another one and get national media alerted...looks like it won't take much effort to really stir things up.

I thoroughly enjoy the work being done. I have a great admiration for all the supporters and protesters in Alaska. I sincerely hope they are not defined by Palin or Stevens. Virginia is lucky to have been defined politically early on by some amazing leaders.
