U.S. Senator Joe Biden plans to discuss military issues and the economy during two campaign stops in Virginia.The Democratic vice presidential candidate is scheduled to appear at the Virginia Beach Convention Center at 8:45 a.m. Thursday. Biden then will travel to Manassas for an afternoon event.

The campaign says Biden will discuss the economy at the Manassas event, which will be held at Verizon Auditorium on George Mason University's Prince William Campus. Doors open at noon.
The events are free but tickets are required as seating is limited. Check with your local Obama office...
