Governor Terry McAuliffe?

This morning I was surprised to see Terry McAuliffe as friendly as he was with the Virginia delegation. Turns out that he's floating the idea of running for Governor of Virginia... and I'm fairly certain that test balloon will be shot down by the folks in Virginia. After the initial shock, laughter could be heard through the halls of the Crown Plaza (the Virginia delegation hotel). I talked to Senator Deeds about it and he didn't seem worried about McAuliffe staying in the race... but he certainly saw it as an incredible surprise.
The fact is that McAuliffe can raise HUGE amounts of money. That, and his connection to the Clintons, are his only advantages. However, he won't get the support of the establishment (not even the Northern Virginia establishment), because they are already committed to Creigh and Brian. McAuliffe may get in the race, but just like Hillary, he will be slaughtered in Virginia.
PS: I'm waiting for Ben Tribbett/NLS to jump into the race in favor of McAuliffe imminently :)
