UPDATE #2: Tim Kaine slams Jeff Frederick over his "voter fraud" allegations:
In an interview on WTOP radio, Kaine called Frederick's (Prince William) assertion "ridiculous.""I think that is slandering the reputation of hardworking Virginians who care about elections and who want people to care about this process," Kaine said. "You know, I don't like to see folks doing things in the heat of a tough election to suggest they are trying to winnow down turnout and that is what I view (Frederick's) effort as."
"Few nonpartisan observers in Virginia regard Kaine's tenure in the Governor's Office as particularly successful. Having known every governor since Albertis Harrison (1962-1966) and having studied the records of the dozen most recent governors, I would characterize Kaine's term to this point as belonging to the bottom quartile. To be fair, he has a year and a half to go, and sometimes a Virginia governor can make a final push that raises his grade considerably."
Rehnquist and his pals were doing this in Az in the 60s for Nixon. It's a classic and the way to counter it is an immediate injunction action against the RPV to prohibit them from carrying out their suppression efforts.
